When Republicans lose an election, they try to figure out why their message wasn't connecting with the voters. When Democrats lose an election, they sue. Democrats can't believe that they could actually lose because their message doesn't resonate - it has to be fraud.

In 2004, all the polls said that Kerry would win. The initial exit polls said that Kerry would win. He lost by 3,000,000 votes. But because the mainstream media believed their own hype, and couldn't admit they were wrong, they ended up creating suspicion and then fostering it in the press.

I'm tired of this kind of BS. If McCain wins today, it's because he won more electoral votes. The FBI is investigating ACORN in fifteen states - and it's not because someone tried to register Mickey Mouse. Voter fraud is rampant; illegal aliens, felons, and dead people are registered to vote, and cast ballots.

Here in California, Bob Dornan lost his bid to win a Congressional seat by 984 votes. When he was able to identify more than 1,000 votes that were cast for his opponent, Loretta Sanchez, by illegal aliens, Dick Gephardt threatened to "shut the House. . ." if Dornan's challenge continued. The state Republican party told him to back off, because to do otherwise might alienate Hispanic voters.

The root of the problem is that everyone seems to accept voter fraud as long as it favors one's own party. Free and fair elections are our right. If our elected representatives won't enforce that unless it's the other side that benefits, then we're all screwed.

So if McCain wins, it's infinitely more likely that the mainstream media was wrong than that McCain somehow rigged the election. But that's exactly what you'll hear. That's voter intimidation in the extreme - the message is, unless you vote for Obama you're supporting voter fraud.

God help us all.

I saw the public tax return information from the candidates. I shared more wealth than both Obama and Biden combined each year. I decided where it went.

All Americans have an obligation to pay taxes that are needed to fund services provided by government. We do not have an obligation to provide money to politicians to support failed government bureaucracies and social programs and we most certainly are not obligated to provide welfare checks to someone who did not earn it.

This is my country. I am not going to give it away willingly. Regardless of the outcome tomorrow we need to start taking our country back from the socialists and career party politicians.

Go vote.

Hi Scott, I rarely leave a comment, but the descriptive of your Halloween costume just DEMANDS a picture!

As for the rest of your post: if the USA considers itself as the 'Leader of the "free world" ' it should also act in the interest of the countries it tries to lead. After all you can only lead if you are respected by those who you lead, and leading a group of people with only self-interest in mind is called dictatorship I suppose.

Hence please elect a leader that has a global view versus a self-centric inward view.

I'm just hoping we'll elect a guy who can do a fairly good job of running the country. A guy who doesn't make *everybody* happy, but somehow manages to do his job without completely destroying our great nation.

In our country's long history, we've only been able to do this a scant 43 times. That's not much, but it leaves me with a glimmer of hope that *maybe* we can do it again.

The election is very close either way > why is it more likely for people to call foul if a republican wins? Do people really think that democrat electioneers are inherently more honest? Jeez, both sides are hiring the same people for crying out loud. It's just that for the last couple of close elections the republican cheaters have done a better job than the democrat cheaters, while the democrat spin doctors have done a better p.r. job of spinning the election results.

I like how you assume that Republicans are entirely well mannered (ironic considering the hate speech that's been yelled at recent Republican rallies), but Democrats are whiny babies who are going to through a fit the first time something doesn't go their way.

If McCain pulls it out, I'll be very much surprised, and some accountability would be required from the national pollsters, who haven't showed a single poll in which McCain was ahead since Mid September ( http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/us/general_election_mccain_vs_obama-225.html#polls ).

How come when Dems lose a close election they all freak out and claim it was stolen and never can admit that they really lost? Why do Republicans when they lose go home, sulk and then get up and go to work the next day and pay and pay?

I'd like to see some people get angry. Get pissed off at the press and all the stupid polls. Obama wouldn't have been the nominated and McCain wouldn't have picked Palin if it weren't for the media promoting Obama 24/7.

I hope the polls are wrong 100% tomorrow. I hope the media has to eat crow.
