This rating thing has totally changed the comments on this blog. I am not sure yet if it's a change for the better. I thought so at first, but I'm not sure anymore. It reminds me of a popularity contest now.

LOL at KurtRoedeger. Fancy getting an image of................Damn. Now I've got it too. Except with her free hand she's polishing the pump handle.

Scott, you should know better than to make anything remotely suggestive in a blog populated by geeks. See what happens?

There's a difference between BEING old, sick and tired and having to TALK about it all the time. You've taken yet another opportunity to complain in yet another post and mention how old, sick and tired you are. Just drop it and never mention it and it's done. Self-pity is a sad thing.

Now with the double-entendre that Scott was talking about and thanks to your post about REALLY churning butter, I have an image of an old bitty frantically playing with herself running around my head. :::shudders::: I think I'm gonna have to drink this one away.

I have REALLY churned butter. No kidding. That's what you do on the farm. I gathered eggs, too. And milked the cows. Didn't like gathering eggs. Chickens are stupid. Ask anyone on a farm.

I can't talk about how long ago that was. Someone posted that I talk about being old. I can't help it. I am.
They said I talk about being sick and tired, also. I can't help it. I am.

From now on I will NEVER refer to my age, health, or energy level.

Gotta go wipe the dew off the pump handle. Later...........

Are you referring to your use of "tools" in the comic? I'll admit, I read that and did a double-take; I put "tool" into the same category as "blow," as in, "that blows." Which is to say: not overtly filthy, but not a word I'd use with a client or print in a newspaper either. Funny that it got published without comment, though. :-)

"churning butter" is my wife's and my preferred euphemism for . . well, you know. Pointy haired boss is right, it is creepy because Dilbert would be doing it by himself.

I've noticed people using the line in some of the mashups as well... are there any other higher-tech entendres you might have been able to use, I wonder? The only thing I found a little disorienting was that "churning butter" isn't a universal hint at naughtiness, so I (being from the UK) tended to think of the line literally before I thought there might be something behind it.

Trouble is, in the UK I don't think we have anything subtle enough... arf arf
