@KingMidnight - you seem very invested in this exchange. :-) I, for one, sympathize with nice women who have to say awkward "no"s because it feels wrong to let a guy but you dinner when you have zero interest in them ... if she'd been a real woman, she'd have been *relieved* he didn't accept the coffee.

@sordatos;.. Do you ACTUALLY believe that a "pity" coffee is any option that anyone ever would want?????. "a lack of option" don't mean taking anything from anyone, not being on a date is better than a "pity" date from someone who clearly tries to get away..Only reason I accept this might not be as much of a win for Dilbert as it should be, is because I assume he has no clue what so ever as to how much he OWNED that girl.
