I do think that people are promoted to their highest level of incompetence. Unfortunately, I topped out at "fry cook". )~B

If you're that good you should be able to make your boss look so good that he gets a promotion. He will probably promote you to his position so you can keep him looking good. And don't forget to your good co-workers on side. It's all a pyramid.Unless you believe that people are promoted to their level of incompetence.

This is so true it's scary! You work hard to be the best that you can be in your position & then become too valuable to the boss to move on to bigger & better positions. It's extremely frustrating to see the lazy, incompetent coworkers take those afore mensioned positions just b/c the boss got tired of dealing with them. Great strip, Scott.
