I had a programming professor in college that looked exactly like this Condescending Unix Computer User. Suspenders, smug expression, white beard, and a big belly. His website still has a "100% Microsoft Free" badge in the bottom corner. He knows everything about the x86 there is to know.I wish I could see a picture of him prior to 1995 as I am curious if he modeled himself after this strip.
