Duh. Just move the screen and the pointer will move with it.

I use a sales order form under my optical mouse, otherwise the texture of my desk makes it jump around.

and armoni, no, they didn't. the optical mouse still doesn't work on glass.

or you can have a trackball, which stays perfectly stationary!
