Great design for 14 year old flash addicts. Very bad design for intelligent IT folks. We get enough crap shoved down our throats at work. Keep it SIMPLE. Bring back what WORKS
All this stuff is cool alright... but it should only be an ADDITION to the simple-plain-(but not old)-Black&White GIF strip! 4 points:
1. I would say it used to fire my imagination better than the colored/animated strips.
2. That "no-nonsense" graphic was a very powerful way of telling full-nonsense stories of dilbert's world.
3. black & white reminded me of my very formal, official, company environment... thats why i could relate to dilbert so well.... but color reminds me of my college days :))
4. Color in sunday's comic used to be a good differentiator.. but not any more :(
I also want to SAVE the daily strip on to my pc.. :(
I only signed up to complain about the new site design. Useless confusing Flash, hard to navigate and to find old strips, if you happened to miss. Once signed up, I found yesterday's strip instantly. Is the new bad site design a way to push and force people to sign up and share their details including email-address (plus a compulsory birth date)?
My liking for Dilbert may still prevail, but that daily site-visit has certainly become much more of an ordeal now.
And it works with my Firefox, too.
