How many negative comments does it take to make you put the website back the way it was? This is HORRIBLE. Difficult to navigate, slow to load, not fun like the original site. Hope you will abandon trying to "fancy" this site up and go back to basics.
Well, I guess I'm one of the "cry-babies" and "whining morons" since I also hate the new site. Frankly, I expected more from you, Scott Adams, but I guess you have your own pointy haired boss and have to do what he says even when it makes no sense. Thanks for whoever suggested http://www.dilbert.com/fast. I'll be there from now on, leaving this new and unimproved site to those unwhining uncrying geniuses who are open to change even when the changes suck. As Arthur Hays Sulzberger said, "I believe in an open mind, but not so open that your brains fall out."
Hi, I just registerd so I can complain about this site.
This site probably has been designed by some pointy head that is ranting about all the virtues of this newly created Web 1.0 technology. Before we never had 1.0, but now that we have Web 2.0, lets retrospectively grant Web 1.0 to the 'old' way.
Problem is, Web 1.0 sucked, and so does the new Dilbert site.
Solution:
- Implement full Web 2.0 and make it fast
- Strip out flash and go to a sleek fast Web 1.0 layout.
So this all that is needed to satisfy most of those "complaining" (and me), all that was really needed was to let people know this existed on the new site and most of the hoo-haa wouldn't have occurred.
Maybe it was all deliberate to provoke the responses - but as they say, when given the choice between a conspiracy and a stuff-up, back the stuff-up every time...... ;-)
