The last thing PHB says reveals that he`s a baby boomer. He can`t live with criticism and thus helplessly chooses to ignore/overlook it when faced with direct attacks at his person. No leaders in that generation, unlike the war generation, who gave birth to some great leading characters who dominated corporate management until mid-/late 70ies.
