They have posted a sign at our entry door at work, "No cell phones allowed inside". When I asked if I could post this one I was reminded of the policy for posting items.
So could I get your permission to post this cartoon.
In the past I had posted several of your strips on our union board at work but Informed I could not post them without your permission, our labor relations officer, and the union.
I enjoyed your series on posting cartoons and being fired, Right before them, I has been informed it was unprofessional to display cartoons on the cover of my work binder. I keep remindeing them humor (laughter) is the best medicine to help reduce work stress. Keep up the good work.

Mordac rules! My last job, I was the first to get a "next generation" laptop. Totally locked down, with only basic business apps. As a developer, that didn't work for me. They offered to install everything I needed. I can't even list all the tools I use, and I find new ones weekly. I finally bought myself a laptop, monitor, printer, etc. The local Mordac *hated* me for a long time. But I was *so* productive, and I had the biggest monitor in the place. ;-)

Yes, lock it down so tight that I cannot do my job.

Like that Saturday morning we shutdown a number of production systems for a firmware upgrade, I met the vendor's technician & escorted him to the system in the Data Center, he pulled out his USB drive and inserted it into the (locked-down) USB port...

Wasted Saturday morning for the half-dozen guys onsite, another couple of managers standing-by and a bunch of users waiting to vaildate the systems after they were brought back up .

Oh yeah, they had just put in this change, but it wouldn't affect us so we weren't notified.

I LOVE working with those guys!
