IT egos seem to feed off the urban myth they they can do anything. It is not healthy and it encourages business/managers to be illogical, irrational and to demand the impossible.

I like this one because my boss has expected me to do all three- be in two places at once, anticipating events caused by the incompetence of my boss, and performing illegal tasks. I reported his illegal activity and I got fired.
