keith4, you sound exactly like the kind of people that this adage was written about:
"The road to ruin is paved with good intentions."
I could eloquently refute your assertions and assumptions about the world and how you perceive it operates and how if only if everyone behaved like you and your crowd, the world would be a better place, but I'd have as much success arguing with a wall.
Once again, your free to live in your rarefied existence and enjoy as much as possible. But it certainly puzzles me why someone of such ilk is hanging on this blog.
KevinKunreuther, you may be correct in saying that I live in a rarefied world, but most of my friends, coworkers, and acquaintances are actually considerate of other people. It seems that a lot of the people today don't care about anyone other than themselves, and look where that attitude has led us. If that's the world you choose to live in, I feel sorry for you and everyone else that chooses to live in that world. If, on the other hand, you want to be one of the ones that has a desire to change the world for the better...
keith4, you must live in a very very very rarefied world and you are entitled to live in it. The rest of us will be free to express ourselves anyway we see fit without fear of judgment or reprisal. Enjoy your bubble.
