Why in the world do people like KevinKunreuther seem to think that all or most adults use profane language? Of course, it could just be the adults they are around are unable to find an intelligent way of expressing themselves, so they resort to profane language. I find that most intelligent people don't use profane language, regardless of their morals.
This reminds me, one day, you need to do a book or graphic novel of Dilbert strips for grown ups (wait a minnit, Dilbert is a comic for grown ups) or at least a Dilbert publication without fear of being censored by a newspaper editor. I'd call it "The Dirty Dilbert", just to annoy those people who claim to uphold the morals. It wouldn't hafta' have graphic sensorial depictions (unless of course, it was reallly funny!) , but the language and thought processes would be closer to what grown-ups have in real life. I can imagine Dilbert saying or imagining to himself "S-H-1-T-!" an awful lot of times, with a few F*U*C*K*s and G*O*D*D*A*M*M*I*T*s, you know, like real people. Of course, it's a comic, so there would quite a few surreal things to contend with like anthropomorphic dogs, cats, rats, dinosaurs, devils, demons, UNIX gurus and middle managers. And of course, it's be nice to know the travails of Dilbert's dating life, perhaps getting engaged, married and having babies (or having step-children). It wouldn't be any worse than say an A quality Kurt Vonnegut,Jr. novel, so, hey, maybe you would have the honor of being banned in Kansas and having a copy burned by the school janitor at an upstate New York junior high school on order of a school board made up of well meaning semi-literate community leaders.
