Dilbert could propose that the PHB rejects his next proposal.

Before I quit, that was exactly the environment I was in. Actually worse. If by some miracle you made it through the first level of dis-approval, there were about a dozen (that is not an exaggeration) more pointy-haired-bosses without the authority to say yes, ready to say no to justify their existence. I did make it to the n-1'th level, once. Well, at least I assume there was only one more level beyond that. No one had ever made it that high, or maybe no one ever returns from that level...

So, this is marked as my favorite Dilbert of all time. It led me to realize the truth of my situation and get out with my sanity intact. Well, I think it's intact...

Why, o'why, is Dilbert so real life - I want something which is not related to real experiences! Just kidding but once these happen a couple of times too often it gets a little difficult to laugh. Maybe connect Dilbert to something what was goofed up in 90's, or maybe 80's or, what I did see, in 70's? PHBs just don't learn, except new acronyms and abbreviations from "expert" research reports, dog and pony shows, sales representatives, whatever - gives nice laughs and maybe we just need that?
