Spot on, though when people come to me with painfully easy questions that shows they haven't taken 2 minutes to look around, I just go there and ask specific questions until they find out for themselves. Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and he will never bother you again, that's my philosophy and it works.

OMG atsukoarai86 you are right on the money. I hate people like this. I am not an engineer nor am I IT but I am fairly computer savvy and when people make such stupid mistakes, or can't figure something so simple out it drives me crazy!!! i just want to scream "if you would take five minutes to look you could figure it out you effing retard!!!" but the crazy part of me is hidden away and I just act nice and show the people because it would be mean to make them realize just how ignorant they are.

i feel the pain... I'm a programmer and database developer right now and... omigad. for some reason people think because I can program, I can do absolutely ANYTHING to, with, or about a computer. co worker: "My MS Word is messed up!!!"
me: ".... what's the problem?"
co worker; "my type is coming out in symbols!!!"
me: " ...let me... have a look..........you're font is set to Wingdings."
co worker: Oh... THANKS!!! :D YOU'RE A WHIZ!!!!!
among other such adventures... "find me a picture of a teddy bear. I don't know how to search thru clip art."
Curse you, Microsoft....
