Sheez! We continually make fun of our own people month after monther, year after year and we all laugh and have a great time over it. One day it slips over into another nationality and the PC crowd comes crawling out of the woodwork all offended and insulted. I guess we can see where the real prejudice is. If you're that offended, don't read the strip. Nobody is forcing you to.

Wow, there's almost as much of a "I'm offended..." debate going on here as when Scott wrote "Lordy Lord" (I really hope I'm not opening THAT can of worms up again!).
As a military wife, we were stationed in Germany for 3 years. I learned quickly that they think of us as "Stupid Americans" when I watched a German show involving an American & a German:
American: Excuse me, but do you speak English?
German: No, I don't, but if you go to the next building you'll find someone there who speaks English.
American: Oh, ok, thank you. *Goes on to next building*
I STILL laugh when I remember that! Get a sense of humor or stop reading comedy already!

dilberto88 is right! What is wrong with making fun of a stereo type?? part of the fun is how rediculous they can be. Also, since when is columbia not known for smuggling certain things.

I know, if they don't want to be thought of as drugs barons then maybe they should stop producing so much drugs! In the meantime, don't pretend to be offended when the rest of the world tells you what you all are!
