Yes, managers do this exact thing. At least ours do. And the names are hardly politically correct.

Gideon is spot-on. And let's face it, if this were the 1940's and the punchline had been "That's enough out of you Adolf," there would have been more guys out there named "Adolf" then than "Osama" today, but who would have been complaining.

Had the "main bad guy" been named Omar, then HE'D been the name chosen. Now, one of my best friends is named "Omar," but I seriously DOUBT that any offense would be taken as a result, and I can't see getting MY hair all in a bunch about it. RB just needs to chill and stop trying to have their sensibilities offended all the time. Political correctness is a new fascism that is destroying this country.

I can somewhat understand your point RedBird, but it is completely in-character for PHB.

He is the type of person to overlook that Osama is a common name, and still use it insultingly because it is well known because of the terrorist.
