Speedball, i couldn´t have said it better, i totally agree, that´s why i became an Entrepreneur, i was sick of phbs and (sometimes) useless co workers, working almost 70 hours a week for a "so so" paycheck, good thing my brother got to the same braking point, ´cause we decided to team up and star our own company, along with another friend, we´ve been growing steady for the last year =)
been through six of these downturns where phbs got rid of workers instead of fixing themselves
---
the first time is a killer - you take it personally ---
the second time hurts - still cant believe it happened ---
the third time is not nice but you are getting used to it - ----
after that you just wave goodbye with your middle finger and are happy to be outta there -----
anyone who takes up engineering in any form or any related career is a FOOL---
more work less money more stress less fun longer hours less respect yada yada
