Oh and by the way, cddplayer, the inherrant differance between us using celcius and lift whilst you use fahrenheit and elevator is that we are correct :)

Our office is like that. The air conditioning system is in our portion of the building, and the damn thing is more than 40 years old, so it's loud when it comes on (such as now). It's not too loud to be unable to hear over the phone, but you may as well give up any possibility of having information exchanged. And, of course, Number Two Guy In Charge, whose portion of the building is next door, is one of few able to control the thermostat -- and he's perpetually hot.

I've been tempted many a time to go after the grate in our portion of the office but I'm pretty sure demons live in the ducts like in the movie 1408.

She's cold in 68°F? What is she, a penguin?

Come to think of it, most women I know like to wear heavy jackets or sweaters in 75°F weather, saying "they're freezing". It confirms my theory that 9 out of 10 women have their inner thermostat all screwed up. That's what made the strip funny for me :)

I didn't think its was funny at first. But after reading the back & forth commentary.... all of a sudden its funny meter sky-rocketed!!! Thanks for helping me get the joke.
