Where I work we actually cancelled the contract but kept the real plants.
Now an analyst also "gets to" wather the plants.
Where is a good intern when you need one.

Change management and not knowing (or caring) of the consequences. The watering contract was obviously outside scope!

I think Wally should buy the watering contract, or does he already own it?

Tee hee. roger the intern is a funny name. It may be his real name but it's still funny. No offence.

Dilbert DOESN'T want to be a misanthrope! He's looking to become less inquisitive. That's all. Had he refused to ask "why?" in the second frame, none of this would have happened. ALL of us, probably, would have asked an attendant why he or she was busying him/herself with watering a plastic plant were we to see it ourselves. We all would have fallen into the same hole as Dilbert. Dilbert makes the mistake of asking for an explanation.
