What kills me is that people like to "comment" on the strips sans participating in the mashups. Some people can't begin a sentence without talking about themselves. *grin*

As Chronos has explained, it's the editors who get in Scott's way of using the word "turd." *shrug*

For me, the build-up is decent, but the punchline is weak (are the two of them really too shy to say "turd" when no one else can hear them?). All I can say is look at the mashups and see whether other people made a better go of the final frame than Scott did.

It is possible the viewing angle changed in the 3rd square.

I don't think it is possible to make intelligent, non-pendantic comments on something as simple as a comic strip. I think people comment for the sake of public commenting (nano-Warhol). I add pure pendantic comments to dilute the stream.
