"Who needs mittens?" was the perfect way to end this. I started laughing out loud in my tiny closet of a workspace and the people around me were perturbed. Well done, good sir!

I've never heard of "Silk mittens" from your behind. The real humor is in the deleted fourth scene where he shows them the mittens.
We all knew this kid back in middle school, constantly needed attention. Probably came from an abusive home and should have gotten over it or become a serial killer by this age. Did not like them then & don't like them now.

Topper is my favorite character. We had a lady at work like her. Most of her day was spent bragging, anything you could say she topped. She use to talk in dollar figures to try and impress people. Most of her time was spent brown nosing management and controlling every movement of her kids at home by means of messenger and the phone. She was very good in manipulating people to do what she wanted as she had very good verbal skills, actually got managers to sign off on job duties she didn't even do in order to get promoted. Most of what she did was smoke and mirrors, designed to impress other people. She actually got very little work done. What she would do with the managers get their trust, do everything for them and thus put them in a position of payback. The lady is lower than a snake and hated by pretty well everybody.
It worked and she got a position of executive assistant which is just a fancy name for executive secretary. She thinks she is something but everybody ignores her. Sad part is she is getting a paycheck bigger than most of us who do the work.
