Man, why's everyone gotta drag politics in it, and start slapping names around? why can't we just enjoy humor about a bunch of pompous, annoying people getting hurt by proxy without going political?

Islesfan, I'm assuming from your comment that you're blaming Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and Barak Obama for the current economic meltdown. While I agree with Barney Frank and Chris Dodd (and would add a few Republicans to the list for good measure), I can't blame Barak Obama.

Yet.

As the Junior Senator from Illinois, he had very little ability to accomplish anything while in the Senate. So the worst he could be blamed for during that time was riding on other people's coat tails. There has been very little time for his policies as President to have affected the economy. So the CURRENT economy really can't be blamed on President Obama.

If the economy continues south, or we enter a new Dark Age (or an Even Greater Depression), then you can add Obama to the list. Just not yet.

(I suspect that when all is said and done, President Obama will be justifiably blamed for a lot. it just hasn't happened yet.)

Wow, someone totally called this a couple strips ago when they said that Alice would normally eat this guy for lunch. It appears that character consistency still reigns, unfortunately for Mr. MBA.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and Barak Obama have JD's not MBA's.
