Best thing about topper was this comment a few weeks ago:

That's nothing!
They've got one Topper in that company, but where I work, I'm the only one who ISN'T a Topper!

This is exactly the thing I've expirienced as well. In reality you'll find nearly no one who isn't a topper. Most people lie in a subconcious psychological / social way or they tell plausible lies which no one can proof easily. - Toppers are just the ones which are too dumb to tell plausible lies / lie on a personal level... - Anyways most people hate the truth. They can't stand truth, they don't like honest people. - They'll buy the cheapest lie easier than the most plausible truth.
So your social life will be much easier if you're either a chronical dishonest gossiping weasel OR a topper.

I've had the privilege of running into a few "toppers" in my life. For some reason the experience just doesn't translate itself well into the Dilbert realm. Maybe it's just me, but it does go without saying that this character has been overused in the last few months.

People who don't appreciate the "Topper" have had the luck of not having to have been afflicted with the constant presence of one.

"bathroom humor" is an oxymoron. On an unrelated note, Topper is starting to get overused.
