I had a situation like this a few weeks ago, too bad I didn't have the stones to respond the way he did.
@ purple_bobby: Your percentages sound about right except for the salaries of the upper tiers. Income should be more like 3x salary. Or did you forget all those "performance bonuses" that are tied more to stock price than actual job performance? (Government Motors, anyone?)
