This one went over my head. A little too complicated for me to grasp. *Sigh*.

Damn, I submitted in UTF-8 and my umlauts are now garbled.

It should've said "Wiener Würstchen".

Also, the Page should ignore Internet Explorer 5 users and support proper web character sets! >:(

balok is correct.

I can only add that in Germany, Austria and Switzerland a "Wiener" is a citizen of Vienna (like a New Yorker); the sausage is called "Wiener Würstchen" (little sausage from Vienna) in Germany and Austria and "Wienerly" (little Viennanian ) in Switzerland.

The misspelling of Wiener as Weiner is a very common mistake.

The name of the sausage commonly known in the U.S. as a "hot dog" is spelled "Wiener." That's W-I-E-N-E-R (after "Wien," the German name for "Vienna") not "Weiner" as Scott Adams, his asleep-at-the-wheel copy editor, and certain unnamed in-duh-viduals would have you believe.

I am assuming that Dogbert's next tactic will be to ensure that the employees in ll of those states give money to certain candidates. This then ensures a continuation of pork cycle... or at least a sweetheart deal for the unions should the company fail. Oh wait... that's not really funny, is it?
