I think it would have been more practical to have had a trapdoor below the poor guy's seat. In that case, the SPROING effect could have been replaced by ZOOP or WHOOSH effect. :)P.S.:- Got reminded of that because we here in India still have death penalties (execution by hanging) (not that I am against them).

Actually, I was laid off recently and it was VERY awkward/embarassing/humiliating to get escorted out. As long as they had my things waiting outside, I would prefer to get SPROINGed...

Gallows humor. This week, my now-former employer disguised the Corp. Security people brought in for the purge as extra HR folks.
