Dilbert's "not allowed to eat" but is drinking allowed? If so, hydration is guaranteed and nutrition ("liquid diet") is easy.
And if not, there's always an I.V. line. At least that can keep him alive. Just make sure it's sterile before you use it. (Isn't medicine fun?)
