@Iritscen: Actually if you look at the papers on the desk, their position shows that the second frame has a slightly more "zoomed in" perspective, and Asok and Alice are slightly out of shot. Also, Dilbert and the Bumpy-Haired Boss (I just made that up) appear slightly bigger, which reinforces this explanation.

Couldn't figure out what the 'SNORK' with Wally drinking coffee implied.
Anyway, all managers tend to have their own set of cliches that they use way too often. In fact, in boring meetings, the only thing we do is keep a tab on the number of times each of the cliches has been used. And it is hard not to burst out laughing when we do hear our favorites!
