webgrunt- If you watched the animated series, you'd know that wally used to be a hip programmer until he realized that everyone was taking advantage of the system but him. He saves the mainframe in one of th episodes and actually does "work".

I'd just like to see, once, Wally being good at something that doesn't involve ripping off his employer. It would add some much-needed dimension to his character.

So, Wally farted at will? He certainly is talented.

Re: "it's strange to see Catbert duped" - I don't think he was duped, I think he was just reacting to the, uh, 'leak.' The next panel might have been "No, Wally, it's just you..." as Catbert ran out of the room.
