As somebody who uses the "My PHB-told-me-to-tell-you"-defence on a daily basis, I sure hope this strip is wrong.

Thanks wpflug. I've never played poker.

Incidentally, now I know why you often see people double post here (since it just happened to me). The UI gives you no visual cue that you've clicked update so you're not sure if you clicked the right spot, so you try clicking it again harder right in the middle and end up posting the same message two or three times. Seems like the code could catch that and avoid posting the exact same message twice.

I don't understand. His pointy haired boss DIDN'T ask him to tell them that? Reporting a third party belief de dicto is hardly a sin.

Robot, a "tell" is some sort of unconscious action that you do that tells people you are bluffing/lying. It's frequently used in poker.
