@sidewinderguy That did happen, actually. Dilbert started an online business, but since he did it on company time they fired him. Then the company took legal action against Dilbert and took full control of his of own business because they owned Dilbert when he came up with the idea.

Today I have found how true this comic strip played in my life after college. The Long Term Nursing Home D.O.N. says " I did not hire you on a trial contract(I work for a medical temp agency) because of your college degree nor your 17 years experience in the health field ( I have work as a Nursing aid). I hired you because you are a C.N.A.(stands for cleans nasty ass's). We feel that you're not the type of employee we would want her. GeeZ! So what they had a stomach bug building wide during my trial contract and everyone working on the floor got it repeatedly! She continued to say 6 absences is a red flag to our company in a year-you did it in a week. So sorry I wanted the A-I-T program to be the administrator at some nursing home:) but I do have cross training in the health field with a degree. Needless to say, I am looking for another j-o-b.
Me and my big mouth. Does a degree and experience account for anything?

@sidewinderguy He did. But the company stole it and fired Dilbert for doing so in company time.

I'd be cool if Scott did a series where Dilbert gets a startup going! It would have to fail of course, but that'd be entertaining for sure.
