Dsom had to think about it to figure out how adding more people would make things worse, but once I figured in the time it takes for them to be brought up to speed and get used to whatever their new assignment is it would be worse.

This reminds of something my old supervisor once said. He told us to us to come in 1 hour later and work an hour later so our shift would be shorter. Brilliant guy. Glad I don't work for him anymore. Corporate would also come up with a cliche misssion statement. We always called it "The flavor of the month" cliche.
