Sorry! That will teach me to paste from Word--beter misspelled words than jibberish. My last post should read:

Meetings are "productive" for people who run meetings. I once worked at a company where "meeting facilitation" was a "core competency" of my team. After a day of meetings, those that facilitated the meetings could leave the office knowing they had put in a full day's work. Those of us who were assigned "action items" from the meeting had to stay late to produce the "deliverables" to meet the !$%*!$%*!$%* that would be "agenda items" at the next meeting...that took place in the firm that Arthur built.

At first I was just joking, but now I'm serious; the Smoke Monster has Wally's body. How else can you explain his recent transformation from simply lazy to truly devious?

Carol made the fatal mistake of letting Wally speak first.

Unfortunately, you theory is not valid if you are down the hierarchy. I heard my supervisor say "work on weekends to get things done". I HATE meetings. Who is with me and wally?

He will attend all of those meetings, alone. When PHB looks for him, he will be in a meeting. When PHB wants a status report, Wally will have a conflicting meeting he has to attend. If he plays it right, he can sleep, surf the web, and maybe even get lunch and possibly dinner brought in since he is so busy in meetings!
