zerotenone, you're the sort of guy that got Jobs pushed out and the company went downhill and he came back it revived.Hard to argue with that even though he personally may not have made anything. Disagree with him, his style and whatever, but Apple would be next to nothing with out him (and nearly was, and probably will be, unless another like him keeps it going "forward").

As far as the Steve Jobs comparison goes, and those balking at it, consider this: Steve Wozniak was the engineer behind the Apple II. Jobs was the "push" behind creating a company, but what has he himself created? His big idea was fonts based on calligraphy. He was also the force behind Pixar, but what exactly did he create there? And yet he gets all the credit.
