I can't remember where I heard this (or something like it): "The secret to forming a good relationship is sincerity. If you can fake that you've got it made..."
I had to go to one of these meetings years ago. At the end of the meeting the top boss used his own ideas and 5 hours of everyone else's input was thrown into the trashcan. Six months later that boss was replaced due to his ideas that costed the company even more customers.
