This strip seems ridiculous, but it's true in certain companies.In the school, my clueless principal loves to "address the student body." He has developed a system of demeanor that uses a combination of swagger, word manipulation, and argumentative fallacy to woo/intimidate his listeners into agreeing with him.
Before we know it, a bunch of students start learning and applying these moves. Especially the students who work in the student government.
It's scary to watch the transformations... right before our eyes.
The worst part is, just like the principal, they're using those "gravitas" techniques to get around the need for integrity.
Well, on the plus side, at least we ARE raising future political leaders.

well with a boss like this they are ought to get quick to anger.......as PHB is getting to it right now....:-P

Indeed, a good role model. A few of his employees will go on to become PHB's in their own right. The cycle will continue.
