Here is Dilbert getting ready to go to bed, and his dog manages to confuse him to the point where Dilbert doesn't know what he is, or who he is, or perhaps that he is. A dog that cruel should be given the boot to spend the night outdoors where he can try to put the whammy on the trees or other critters he meets.....that would make for an interesting strip....

IF unhappiness may be increased by comparing yourself to better-off people (those proverbial "Johnses"), THAN unhappiness may be decreased by comparing yourself to worse-off people.Would you agree that Decreasing unhappiness = Increasing happiness?

Great strip! But of course happiness doesn't come from that. Is it a coincidence that "cynic" comes from the greek word for "dog"?
