Though Kirstie stole many mixed-vulcan heart (and I'm sure that was the real launch of her career, right?) I loved Robin Curtis, "helping Spock through the agonies of Pon Farr..." as they say.
So I'm wondering just what or to whom Dilbert may become "empathically bonded" even if it only ever happens this once in seven years? Isn't that about right for an Engineer?
This should be enlightening...what if Dilbert inadvertently leaves a Kol-Ut-Shan shaped chocolate on the corner of his desk...and the office ho gets intoxicated by it? Does it count if he can't remember the next day how her number got into his Droid?

I was never a trekkie so I had to look up Pon Far as well. The part about needing to mate with someone to whom he is empathetically bonded is a tad frightening.

Wally, Dogbert, backs to the wall boys that's not a slide rule in his pocket and he is pleased to see you.

@lemmein

I do not think prospects are as bleak as you suggest. Remember, Dilbert is in love with technology. I think his Pon Farr could be cured by uniting him with a particularly arousing new gadget.

Glad I read the blogs on this one, as Pon Farr sounded like what, a famous golfer? Engineers are susceptible to OCD, so the doc isn't too far off the mark....
