This is actually a win win situation. As Scott noted in one of his books, you have to load yourself up with as much work as possible so that there is no possible way you could ever do it all. Then and only then you can slack off as much as you like!
The "savings", such as they are, will be quietly siphoned off to an offshore account owned by Wally - this is why work is unecessary for him, and also why when he retires he will own the company without anyone knowing about it. Zen, indeed.....
