PHB was doing fine in the first panel, coasting along in the glory of "leadership"--until Alice reminded everyone what a dolt he is. Then Wally observed that PHB just failed again.

I wonder why PHB is looking at Wally throughout the whole strip. Could it be he's caught on to Wally's work-dodging ways?

But then how is it possible to learn from the failure of failing to embrace one's own failures?... If PHB was capable to follow his own advice, he would have been the smartest person in the world.

red33410 - I could be wrong but I think Wally's comment is directed at the PHB in regard to his idiotic statement in the first panel. He's quick to pick up on Alice's remark and in his sarcastic way turn it into the PHB's most recent failure.

Sounds like a valid suggestion. Fawning Fredo would make a good recurring character, at least on the same level as the Creepy and Loud characters. He'd be no match for Wally or Alice, but with the right single-mindedness could challenge Topper. Intriguing.
