Man...Earlier I thought Scott had a good visualization of the workings of an IT company. With this strip I have to admit he an equally good visualization of an engineer. A good part of my weekend is spent researching on hokey-pokey posts that non-engineer friends put up on Facebook and then negating those in full public with links to back me. And if I can't find enough proof on the web though I know that the post sounds too-good-to-be-true I just flag it as spam :)
What's that saying? Aah yes - "On the internet, nobody knows you are a dog."

Dilbert demonstrates here the Biblical function by the people known as the Bereans:
Acts 17:11 "Now the Bereans were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true."

I try to stamp out ignorance as well, but you have to be a little less direct about it.

That's where Mythbusters comes in handy!

@Kalessin

The first googled link that turns up is the blog post of 16 Aug. There is recursion with this.

And @risingstarlp's prophecy has come true.

And in a brilliant moment of recursion, what he googled was this very strip. :)
