PHB has been watching too much of the apprentice and become a fan of Donald Trump, he is even using Donald Trumps method towards riches. Have other people make your products for you, stamp your name on it but don't even actually bother managing your name, yourself.
Now all PHB needs is for the corporation to go bankrupt about four or five times and he will be a billionaire, well the CEO will be anyway.
Actually the PHB's strategy meshes with Dilbert's past suggestion. Now that they're spinning off sidelines like engineering, design, prototyping, testing and production, they can focus on their "core competency."
