I find it hard to imagine all what is in the other 4 GB of OS when the Mac could run on 1 floppy disk.
But back to the strip. Actually I found the strip a slap in the face of several free software foundations. Granted, like Dogbert's offer, the web is full of free software offers, that perform like Dogbert's. On the other hand, I have found plenty of free software that is fantastic, and very useful. I'd hate to see all free software lumped into one description/category.

Basically the same thing for this Mac guy.
After the Apple IIe, my first Mac was a Plus, and I had System, Font Mover, HyperCard, and games (Bakers Dozen, Klondike, etc.) all in the palm of my hand.
Then from System 7, you suddenly needed a whole STACK of diskettes to install from, and a built-in hard drive to run it with.
On the other hand, my first 20MB SCSI hard drive was a monster big enough for the kids to do their homework on, and so noisy I had to get an extension cable and set it out in the hall.
