@SondraGailIt's real that you can make a lot of money from Feng Shui.
As far as its made up magical properties are concerned, the first time I learned about Feng Shui was from a Chinese intellectual who explained that it began as a practise of placing objects and arranging furniture and spaces in the most logical, practical and useful way, but over the years had gathered a whole lot of mystical mumbo-jumbo and been corrupted into a silly magical semi religious thing.

In other parts of the world, this guy is known as the "flim-flam" man. He will dance around the PHB's desk with his star wand and sing - "star light, star bright, I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight". Dogbert introduced him to Dilbert....
