I would love to have the next strip contain Wally's response to the same question. If I get this sort of nonsense while using the computer here at the senior center, I just shut up and keep on messing with the computer -eventually they go away. My blood pressure is probably on the moon, however....

I perceived this as a person needing training. Yes, it is a waste of time for the senior engineer, but attitudes like that will result in the junior engineer churning out bad designs/code/whatever and never learning the ropes.
