When Circuit City folded the liquidation company it hired _raised_ the prices of everything to full MSRP. The place was suddenly packed with "bargain shoppers" looking to score a deal at the "new" prices, afraid to miss the big sale. If all of those smart shoppers had bothered to go there when the prices were ten percent lower -- Circuit City's norm -- they could have complained that ten percent was hardly any kind of a bargain. Yes, the average person IS smart enough.
