@saikenCan't be the iPhone. They haven't covered "once you have lots and lots of chargers, we'll change the specification of the connector so it won't match the old ones or the one that everyone else has adopted as standard. And sell you a very expensive adaptor to make all the old stuff work"

Huh. Dogbert is describing my HP Pavilion "Entertainment PC" precisely. Never have I owned such a piece of hqiz in my life. I'd like to slap everyone in the design/decision chain until their cheeks are an angry purple.

On a totally unrelated note: I bought a new Apple keyboard 3 weeks ago, and yesterday the left shift key stopped working. Sorry, totally off-topic.

My parents bought a washing machine and a television whenever they moved into their house ~20 years ago. Both still work. My current TV is ~3 years old and already had some trouble with it. High quantity, low quality new world :(
