I had a boss who was so passive-aggressive that she was 45 minutes late for the meetings she called. Sometimes she didn't show up at all. When she came, she smelled so bad no one wanted to be in the room with her. She would show up late for the CEO's meetings, or just disappear. She even came back from vacation a week late, and swore she had told everyone that was when to expect her--a flat-out lie. She eventually was let go, but it took years.
I live in the UK where any such action would be considered a company expense, in other words you can charge the fee back to the company and there is nothing the company can do about it. This includes the VAT too, so the company gives you back your money and the VAT goes to the government.
