Sigh, I was told about the 10,000 hours when I started to learn to play the banjo and learn Java. I hope I live long enough to do one of those tasks well. By the way they have many similarities. Each "skill" can clear a room.

Being willing to put in the time to excel at something *is* a form of mental disorder, but one which can bring great benefits. Some folks are born with it; others must work at it; and the vast majority of us hope we never contract it.
